The Gospel Coalition (website) is a fellowship of evangelical churches committed to serving the local church by grounding it in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ so that the church truly speaks and lives for Jesus Christ in our current age. The Coalition is led by Don Carson and Tim Keller and operates from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL. CrossWay is a supporting member of The Gospel Coalition and Mike Bullmore serves on the Planning Committee.

How the 2013 Gospel Coalition Conference Reinforced Three Gospel Priorities
As a pastor, do I really need to attend another conference on the gospel? After all, I get the gospel, we have built CrossWay on the foundation of the gospel, and we train others in gospel-centered ministry. Besides, can’t I simply listen to the conference messages after the fact?
I have asked myself all of those questions, but I have experienced the revitalizing effect of attending conferences like these. There is a significant difference between listening to conference messages in the busyness of life and feeling the impact of them first hand. Hearing them first hand allows for extended time for personal reflection and discussion with those who were also affected by those messages.
God used the 2013 Gospel Coalition Conference in several ways in my life and I trust it will have an impact on my ministry at CrossWay and, I trust, by the grace of God alone, it will impact the health and mission of CrossWay. Let me name three ways God used this conference in my life.
