Well Baby Nursery

Well Baby Nursery

On behalf of our staff and volunteers, we welcome you and your child to our Well Baby Nursery. Our desire is to provide a loving, safe, and clean environment for your child each Sunday morning. If you have questions, please talk to one of our volunteers or call the office at (262) 857-4488. We’ll be glad to serve you in any way.

Our nursery is divided into three classes:
  • Infants – children 2-12 months (approximately)
  • Walkers – children who are walking with confidence (12-24 months)
  • 2’s – children who are 2 years of age or those who turn 3 after Sept. 1st
In an effort to serve parents and children more effectively, we have provided the following information:
  • Communicable Diseases – For the protection and health of your child, we have adopted the following guidelines. Parents should not bring children to the nursery who have experienced any of the following during the previous 24 hours:
    • Fever - Productive cough or runny nose
    • Vomiting  - On antibiotics less than 48 hours
    • Diarrhea  - Exposed to a contagious disease
  • Label All Items… brought into the nursery, including diaper bag, bottles, & pacifiers.
  • Pacifiers – Please attach pacifiers to a paci-clip to prevent them from being lost.
  • Diapers – After reviewing Health Department Standards we strongly discourage the use of cloth diapers in the nursery. Disposable diapers are available upon request.
  • Drop-Off and Pick-Up – Please remain in the hallway when dropping off or picking up your child.
  • Nametags – All children attending our nursery will receive a numbered nametag. A duplicate nametag will be given to the parent or guardian. This duplicate nametag must be presented to the nursery worker when you pick up your child.
  • Parents Please Pick Up Your Children Personally – Nursery workers have been instructed to release children to their parent or legal guardian only.
  • Paging Parents – If for some reason your child should need you during the service, your child’s nametag number will appear on the digital call boards at the front of the Worship Center. Please return to the nursery to assist your child.
  • Nursing Moms – The office conference room is available for nursing moms. Please use the entrance in the north east corner of the Worship Center.
  • Stroller Parking – Strollers can be parked in the hallway just outside the 1st Grade (B) room. Just ask one of our volunteers, they’ll be happy to direct you.
