Welcome to Kids Crossing, the children’s ministry of CrossWay Community Church! Children are a blessing from God. As parents, we delight in the joy that Children bring, but we are also aware of our responsibility to “bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4) That’s a big job that, at times, can seem overwhelming. But God is faithful to provide all that is needed to help us accomplish this task, and one of the primary means He uses is the church. In fact, Kids Crossing is specifically designed to help you establish and nurture the faith of your children.
At the heart of Jesus’ teaching is the commandment to love your neighbor. While obedience to this command can and will take many forms, at Crossway we believe that an important element ought to be extending compassion and protection to the poor and disadvantaged in our community.
A warm, welcoming community of 18-26 year-olds at Crossway. We are focused on three main things: 1) Discipleship: Knowing and following Jesus; 2) Community: Developing deep friendships that are centered on Jesus; 3)
To know, treasure and love Jesus Christ above all else. (Matt. 13:44; 2 Cor. 5:15)
To love God’s Word, the Bible. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Matt. 4:4)
To honor and love their parents from the heart. (Eph. 6:1-2)
To love and serve the local church. (Rom. 12:3-8)
To love and enjoy one another. (John 13:34-35)
To live courageously for Christ in all areas of life… counting the cost as gain. (Phil. 3:8)
To help others know, treasure and love Jesus Christ above all else. (Rom. 1:16; 2 Cor. 5:20)
