David and Elizabeth, married in 1991, are blessed with 5 children, Lydia, Mary, Andrew, Melody, and Ruth. A “missionary kid” in the mountains of Northern Lebanon, David helped his parents build and run a Christian school. As a young child, he realized that on his own, he was selfish and self-destructive; through Christ’s grace, he hungered for and accepted Christ’s salvation from his sins. When he was twelve, he defended his hope in Christ to be baptized, publicly declaring his desire to die to self and live for Christ. Employed by Abbott Labs since 1993, he and his family began attending Crossway in 2007. David leads a care group, serves in Exploring Christianity and on the chairs ministry, and has served as an elder since 2013.
