CrossWay Kids is for children from newborns through 5th Grade. We want children to trust in Jesus and follow him all the days of their lives. Our hope is to partner with parents in laying a foundation of who God is and what he has done in history, especially in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Every Sunday morning, we gather children in age-specific classes for relevant teaching and small groups where they work out what they hear in the context of community.
NURSERY (newborns – 3 year olds)
We want the youngest attenders of CrossWay to experience Jesus’ love through our care for them on Sunday morning. For newborns to three-year-olds we look to create an environment that is safe, welcoming and purposeful. More information can be found below in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
Our volunteers are required to be trained and screened, and we strive to maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio to ensure safe care.
Dedication expresses your commitment as a parent to pass on your faith in Jesus Christ to your child. It is also a commitment to active participation in the church, a community of people who support you and hold you accountable in your parenting. PRESCHOOL (3 – 5 year olds)
In our Preschool ministry we look to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation. We teach from the Bible and help parents proclaim to their children who God is and what he’s done through Jesus Christ.
ELEMENTARY (K – 5th grade)
Elementary ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We look to continue building a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We cover a wide range of key topics including the attributes of God and the character of Jesus’ coming. Elementary students attend the beginning of service with their families. They are dismissed to their classes right before the sermon.
657 KIDS CLUB – Monday Nights
(2nd-5th graders & parents)
This is a club-like program for 2nd-5th Graders and their parents. Our goal is to disciple children… and to equip and encourage parents to disciple their children. We meet every-other Monday night for games, a snack, and to grow as followers of Christ. Parents will participate in the meetings with their children. They‘ll also be given practical things they can be doing at home to disciple their children that are connected to the meetings at the church. Click HERE for our schedule and more information.
Sundays 8:30 / 10:00
* Preschoolers: 15 min. before service
* Elementary: dismissed before sermon
If you’re visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration card to receive security stickers. The stickers serve two purposes:
* Parent paging – if your child needs you during a service, the number on your sticker will be displayed.
* Child Pick-up – you must present your portion of the sticker when picking up your child.
Frequently Asked Questions (Drop Down)
What time does nursery registration open?
Nursery classes open 15 minutes before the service and close 15 minutes after the service.
Do you have any guidelines for parents before checking in their children?
Remember to label all items belonging to your child. That way everything that your child came in with will be sure to find its way back home.
What security measures do you have in place?
Your child’s safety is one of our top priorities. All nursery volunteers go through a screening process that includes an online application and a background check.
Our registration system ensures that every child receives a name tag. You will also receive a tag with a 3-digit family number. This tag ensures that only you are able to pick up your children at the end of service. Please note that a new, randomized number will be assigned to your family each week. If the nursery volunteers need to reach you at any time during the service, your family’s 3-digit number will be posted on the wall monitors in the auditorium.
If you’re visiting for the first time, please be sure to fill out the registration form in advance or once you arrive.
Do you have a room for nursing mothers?
The office conference room is available for nursing mothers. Feel free to use the entrance in the north east corner of the auditorium.
Can I bring my children in the service with me?
Your child is welcome to sit with you during the service. Please be considerate of those around you by doing your best to make sure your child is not a distraction. If you need to leave the auditorium, chairs are available in the lobby.
What is the Nursery well child policy?
To minimize the chance of spreading illness, children who show signs of sickness will not be accepted into the nursery environment. We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours before entering the nursery. This is for the health and protection of all children and volunteers. You are encouraged to bring your child back as soon as he or she is well. If an illness is discovered after a child is in the classroom, your child will be separated from the other children and your family number will be posted on the monitors in the auditorium.
Upon recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child should not be taken from the home with any of the following conditions:
